Balestier Khalsa won their first-ever trophy last night, thrashing Brunei DPMM 4-0 at Jalan Besar Stadium to clinch the StarHub League Cup.

Goals from Paul Cunningham (15th minute), Kim Min Ho (34th), Poh Yi Feng (68th) and Tengku Mushadad (86th) gave Balestier a resounding victory.

In an earlier match, Malaysia's Harimau Muda won the Plate final with a 2-0 win over Courts Young Lions, with Muhammad Syazwan Tajudin (22nd minute) and Mohd Asri Mardzuki (70th) the scorers.
