The then James Owen-trained Wimbledon Hawkeye (James Doyle) beating Royal Playwright (Oisin Murphy) in the Group 2 Royal Lodge Stakes (1,600m) at Newmarket on Sept 28, 2024. He is now trained by George Scott for Victorious Forever and will interestingly be ridden by Murphy in the Group 1 Grand Dallmayr Prize (2,000m) in Munich on July 26.
