GE2025 ballot papers and other documents incinerated

The incineration of ballot papers and documents used in the general election is in accordance with the Parliamentary Elections Act.

Sealed boxes containing ballot papers and other documents used in the election will be transported to the Tuas South Incineration Plant for destruction.

All 11 parties which contested GE2025 had pieces of traditional election advertising removed between April 15 and May 3.

$13m spent on GE2025 campaign, PAP spent $9.4m against $3.6m by the opposition

Online advertising made up about 16 per cent of total costs, while political parties spent a combined $1.7 million - or about 13 per cent - on physical rallies.
