The race for the White House heads to the west on March 22 with both parties holding primaries in Arizona and Utah, and Idaho for the Democrats.
All eyes will be on Utah to see if Texan Senator Ted Cruz will garner more than 50 per cent of the vote. If he doesn't, the votes could split between the three candidates.
For the Democrats, Bernie Sanders might be able to make up for lost ground as he heads into friendly territory in Utah and Idaho as the strong favourite. Related story.
