GERMANY (REUTERS) -The stage is dark.

Her story is horrific.

Eva Fahidi was just 18-years-old - during World War II - when she and her family were sent to Auschwitz.

Fahidi's mother, father and sister all perished inside the concentration camp.

Now 90 years old, Fahidi is presenting her memories through movement.

Using dance, she describes her carefree childhood in Hungary and her desire to be a pianist.

She also details her terrifying experiences at Auschwitz - working in a forced labor camp.

Fahidi says dance helps her express her feelings.

"You can express yourself much better and more precisely with gestures and especially with dance than verbally. Whether you want it or not, with gestures and movements you show much more than you intend to. There is body language, and you can tell everything with it. Especially the things you don't want." she said.

Fahidi shares the stage with another dancer who plays her younger version.

The performance - called 'Sea Lavender or The Elation of Being' - received a standing ovation when it was performed in Berlin ahead of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
