SINGAPORE - Consumer electronics brand Parrot, which has its headquarters in Paris, has launched four new drone models in Singapore. They will be available from Friday, Oct 7 at selected retailers.
The Parrot Disco ($2,399) is the company's first fixed-wing drone, and can travel at up to 80kmh.
It is capable of recording full high-definition video footage. It weighs roughly 750g and has a battery life of up to 45 minutes.
The Parrot Bebop 2 ($1,399) is the successor to the popular Parrot Bebop quadcopter, and weighs 500g.
It has four three-blade propellers for greater manoeuvrability, and can reach a speed of up to 60kmh in just 14 seconds.
Parrot is also releasing two mini-drones - the Swing and Mambo.
The Parrot Swing ($269) has an X-shaped chassis, and is Parrot's first drone that is capable of vertical take-off.
The Parrot Mambo ($229) is a playful drone that comes with mini-cannons to fire projectiles, and a small grabbing arm to carry payloads of up to 4g.
