RIO DE JANEIRO - National shooter Teo Shun Xie did not qualify for the knock-out stage of the women's 25m air pistol event on Tuesday at the Rio Olympics.
The 28-year-old had a combined score of 571 for the precision and rapid fire rounds and finished 29th of 40 competitors at the Olympic Shooting Centre.
She needed a score of at least 582 to finish in the top eight and advance to the semi-finals.
The 2014 Commonwealth Games 10m air pistol champion finished 37th in her pet event last Sunday.
She has completed both her events in Brazil while team-mate Jasmine Ser will be in action on Thursday in the 50m three-positions competition.
This is the first time that Singapore has had two shooters qualify for the Summer Games.
