Football: FAS to hold trials for national girls' Under-14 team

SINGAPORE - The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) will conduct selection trials for the girls' Under-14 national team again on Oct 26, 28 and 30 at the Woodlands Stadium.

The trials will be held from 5-7 pm on each day. Participants need only to attend one day of the trials.

The selection is held once more so as to reach out to girls who had just completed the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) and may have missed out on the earlier trials held on Sep 8, 9 and 10.

It is open only to Singaporean girls born between Jan 1, 2002, and Dec 31, 2004, both dates inclusive. The final selection will represent the nation at the Asian Football Confederation U-14 Girls' Regional Championship (Asean) next June.

After the trials, the players selected will have to attend training sessions every Monday and Friday from 5-7pm at Woodlands Stadium.
