Having played for the Singapore Slingers since 2015, forward Xavier Alexander rarely spends a lot of time with his family at home in Oklahoma City.
When the coronavirus caused the Asean Basketball League (ABL) to be put on hold indefinitely last March, Alexander flew home and spent 10 months with his family there - the longest in six years.
