Aquatics: World champions Peng Jianfeng and Wang Han to feature at Fina Diving Grand Prix in Singapore

SINGAPORE - A total of 41 competitors from 12 countries, including world champions Peng Jianfeng and Wang Han, of China, will be in action at the Fina Diving Grand Prix in Singapore from Nov 3-5.

The event, to be held at the OCBC Aquatic Centre, was announced by the Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) on Monday (Oct 2).

Divers from Great Britain, Australia, Russia and North Korea will also be in action over the three days.

The 23-year-old Peng won the gold medal in the men's 1m springboard at the World Championships in Budapest in July.

At the 2015 Grand Prix in Singapore, he won gold 3m springboard.

He will compete in that event and the men's 3m synchronised springboard in November.

The 26-year-old Wang won gold with partner Li Zheng in the mixed 3m synchronised springboard, and a silver medal in the women's 3m springboard in Budapest behind compatriot Shi Ting Mao.

Wang will compete in the women's 3m springboard and women's 3m synchronised springboard events in November in Singapore. At the 2014 edition, she finished second in the 3m springboard behind Malaysia's Cheong Jun Hoong.

Hosts Singapore will be represented by SEA Games medallists, Mark and Timothy Lee, Jonathan Chan and Myra Lee.
