Vehicle catches fire in Paya Lebar Square carpark, no reported injuries

SINGAPORE - A vehicle caught fire in a carpark at a shopping mall in Paya Lebar on Friday (Feb 17) afternoon.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told The Straits Times on Friday that it was alerted to the fire at Paya Lebar Square at 2.06pm.

SCDF dispatched two fire engines, two Red Rhinos, two fire bikes and a support vehicle to 60 Paya Lebar Road.

The fire was extinguished with one water jet.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
