SINGAPORE - SMRT has put up metal barriers at Woodlands MRT station as part of a trial to get users of personal mobility devices (PMDs) to dismount within the station's compound.

The move is the latest in a series of measures to improve safety for both PMD users and the public, and stakeholders have commended it as a positive step.
