SINGAPORE - A taxi damaged three vehicles at a carpark, before driving into a pillar at a void deck on Thursday (March 17) night.

However, no injuries were reported.

Police said it was alerted at 11.27pm that an incident had occurred at Block 702, Bedok Reservoir Road.

The accident involved a taxi, a car and two lorries, police added.

A report from Lianhe Wanbao said it is understood that the taxi was attempting to back out of a parking lot when, for unknown reasons, it drove forward and hit a red car parked in front.

The red car in turn hit a lorry that was parked behind it.

The taxi then brushed another lorry before entering a nearby void deck, and rammed into a pillar.

Police said investigations are ongoing.
