SINGAPORE - A "young at heart" Facebook post by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to mark Youth Day on Sunday (July 3) has prompted a deluge of jump shot photos from fellow Singaporeans.

PM Lee shared a photo of him and wife Ho Ching, along with Minister of Culture, Community and Youth Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Transport Josephine Teo and Minister of State for Trade and Industry and National Development Koh Poh Koon executing a jump shot during a working trip to Moscow, Russia, in May.

Youth Day in Singapore is celebrated on the first Sunday of July every year.

Wishing the young and young at heart a happy Youth Day in his post, he wrote: "Don't be afraid to make mistakes, because that's the beauty of being young. You can experiment, try things out, and discover what you can be.

"The future often looks daunting, but go forth and create your own!"

On his five-man jump shot attempt, he reckoned that they had not done too badly and asked Singaporeans to share photos of their own jump shots on his Facebook post.

Dr Koh, who is PM Lee's fellow Member of Parliament in Ang Mo Kio GRC, hailed him as "the coolest PM ever", adding that it is not often one gets to do a jump shot with the Prime Minister.

PM Lee had previously done a jump shot with a group of Nanyang Technological University students last September.

Here's a selection of some of the photos shared by Singaporeans:
