The People's Action Party (PAP) has identified a pool of women candidates for the next general election, due by April next year, Manpower Minister Josephine Teo said yesterday.

Speaking at the PAP Women's Wing's celebration of International Women's Day, Mrs Teo said: "We have identified women candidates who have the passion to serve fellow Singaporeans, and have proven themselves in their chosen fields.
