SINGAPORE - More Singaporeans are spending significantly more time with their families, according to a survey by non-profit group Families For Life.
A survey of 1,252 respondents found that the majority spent between six and 12 hours a week with their families.
The same survey conducted last year found that the majority of the respondents spent between two and six hours with their families weekly.
The survey also found that nearly half those polled were not satisfied with the amount of time they had to spend with their families.
These results were released at the annual Families For Life Celebrations which were held at Universal Studios Singapore on Sunday evening.
About 20,000 people showed up at the celebrations which was was attended by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
