SINGAPORE - Free Milo will be available on Friday (Oct 7) at Plaza Singapura, Nestle Singapore has announced.

There will be a Milo van at the outdoor plaza of Plaza Singapura from 11am to 8pm.

Nestle Singapore said that this was a show of support for local crooner Nathan Hartono, who will be competing in the finals of the Sing! China contest on Friday evening.

He earlier vowed that "if I win, I will rent a fleet of Milo vans and treat everybody to Milo peng (iced Milo)".

To which Nestle responded on Facebook: "Nathan, win or lose, Milo will support you all the way! No need to rent, also can. Just tell us where, we bring the van."

"Win or lose, Singaporeans will get their Milo peng," said Mr Chow Phee Chat, Nestle Singapore's director of marketing communications and corporate affairs.

Nestle said that Plaza Singapura was chosen because it is a "convenient" and "accessible" location with a high volume of pedestrian traffic.

Milo vans will also eventually be deployed to sites in the northern, southern, eastern and western parts of island.
