Floating body found at Punggol Reservoir

SINGAPORE - A man's body was found floating at Punggol Reservoir on Monday (June 25).

The police were alerted to the case at 6.44pm, and paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

According to a user of citizen journalism website Stomp, who passed by the scene at around 8.50pm and again at close to midnight, police cars and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) vehicles were spotted at the scene.

The case has been classified as unnatural death, and police investigations are ongoing.


Correction note: An earlier version of this story said that the body was found at Lower Seletar Reservoir. The police later clarified that it was found at Punggol Reservoir.
