Exhumation plans on hold for 1930s grave at Moonstone Lane after heritage community digs up its history

SINGAPORE - A small building, partially embedded in the wall of a warehouse at 49 Moonstone Lane, near the Kallang River, has housed the grave of someone named Syeda Sharifah Zainah Al-Habsyi for decades.

The authorities had initially slated the pre-World War II grave for exhumation based on an on-site notice from March 9.
