Ministry says annual schedule has worked well; school holidays important for kids, teachers to rest and recharge

Are the December holidays too long?

Not at all, say parents and educators. Many have come out to defend the year-end break, while the Ministry of Education (MOE) has also said the allocation of holiday weeks is "deliberate and planned".
