Home-grown manufacturing company Dou Yee Enterprises has been tapping free trade agreements (FTAs), particularly regional ones, since 2005.

Its senior manager for logistics and warehousing, Ms Michelle Wong, says the company has benefited from pacts such as those covering United States-Singapore, Asean-China, Asean-South Korea and Asean-Japan, as the bulk of its customers come from the South-east Asian region.
