Ex-Keppel lawyer in Petrobras bribery case had given time to worthy causes, court hears

SINGAPORE - Currently jobless, former Keppel lawyer Jeffery Chow had been involved in animal rescue, delivered food to the needy and volunteered with children's cancer charity event Hair for Hope.

These and other details attesting to the American lawyer's character surfaced at the 61-year-old's sentencing hearing in a United States District Court on Nov 15 for the charge of conspiring to violate the anti-bribery provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
