SINGAPORE - The operators of seven massage parlours have been found running their establishments without a valid licence, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) announced in a news release.

The Straits Times understands that illegal services were also offered at some of the parlours.

In the release on Sunday (June 12), SPF said it had been conducting enforcement operations against massage establishments in several areas between January and June this year.

The areas named were Chinatown, Little India, Jalan Besar, Middle Road, Bencoolen Street, Jalan Sultan and Coleman Street.

Led by officers from Central Division, the operations had targeted establishments which flouted regulations under the Massage Establishments Acts.
