Chicken rice could become the next Singapore entry on a Unesco heritage list, if this was decided purely based on public sentiment.
Most of the 30 people asked by The Sunday Times chose the popular dish, followed by rojak and chilli crab, similar to a National Heritage Board poll of 3,000 people which found that food heritage resonated the most with respondents, when asked about Singapore's intangible cultural heritage.
