SINGAPORE - The River Safari's opening hours will be adjusted by one hour from Monday (Oct 5). The wildlife park will be open from 10am to 7pm each day.

Currently, it opens from 9am to 6pm.

The change will allow visitors to Wildlife Reserves Singapore's (WRS) three parks - the River Safari, Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari - to spend more time at the River Safari before heading to the Night Safari, which opens at 7.30pm, WRS said on Friday (Oct 2).

Attractions and gift shops at the River Safari will open and close later as well.

Some attractions have been affected by the haze. The River Safari cruise will be suspended if the three-hour Pollutant Standards Index reaches 201 and above, while the Amazon River Quest and all shows and feeding sessions will be suspended if the three-hour reading hits 301.

The safari is home to giant pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia, who marked their third anniversary in Singapore in September.
