Bali police allegedly quiz Indonesian in Singapore without permit

Businessman in civil dispute says two officers visited him in hospital and tried to get him to return to Indonesia

An Indonesian businessman with interests in the hotel industry and real estate claimed two police officers from Bali tried to take him back to the island while he was recovering in a Singapore hospital.

In an interview with The Straits Times on Jan 4, Mr Hartono Karjadi, 66, claimed the officers were here over a civil dispute he is having with Mr Tomy Winata, an Indonesian businessman.
