Various shades of pink filled the The Primetime Emmy Awards' red carpet on Sunday as stars posed for photographs ahead of the award show.

Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie, Veep actress Anna Chlumsky, Orange Is the New Black stars Yael Stone and Jackie Cruz as well as Edie Falco and Emma Roberts were among the stars wearing floor length dusty rose gowns.

Amy Poehler and Lady Gaga were among the stars wearing sleek black gowns. Poehler wore a black Michael Kors halter dress with cutouts while Lady Gaga stunned in a one-shoulder gown.

Modern Family actress Julie Bowen and Orange Is the New Black actress Natasha Lyonne wore floor length black gowns. Taraji P. Henson opted for a sparkly black gown with chains for dress straps.
