SEOUL (THE KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Singer-turned actress Suzy is in a romantic relationship with actor Lee Dong Wook.

Lee's agency King Kong by Starship Entertainment and Suzy's agency JYP Entertainment on Friday confirmed that the two celebrities who have a 13-year age gap, have recently started dating after meeting each other at an unofficial occasion.

Lee, 36, who debuted as an actor in 1999, rose to stardom in the TV series My Girl in 2005. He also gained wide public recognition through featuring in Goblin, the 2016-2017 megahit tvN drama series. Lee is set to feature in JTBC's upcoming medical drama Life.

Having originally debuted in a now-defunct K-pop girl group Miss A in 2010, Suzy, 23, made her acting debut in the high-school drama Dream High in 2011. Her breakthrough acting success came with the 2012 film Architecture 101, in which she played a younger version of the female protagonist and earned the nickname "icon of first love."

While continuing her acting career, she made her solo debut with her first EP Yes? No? in January last year and released her second EP Faces Of Love in January this year. She was in a two-and-a-half-year relationship with actor/singer Lee Min Ho that ended last year (2017).
