LOS ANGELES - In the sitcom Bless This Mess, Lake Bell and Dax Shepard play couple Rio and Mike, who leave New York City for what they think will be a simpler life as farmers in rural Nebraska. But they quickly realise farming is much harder than they thought and the property they bought turns out to be a money pit.
Playing a city slicker with no clue when it comes to fixing and building things was actually a stretch for Shepard, 45.
