Amazon debuted its Web streaming service, Amazon Prime Video, in Singapore on Wednesday (Dec 14), as part of a global launch in more than 200 territories.
Viewers can start streaming acclaimed Amazon original series such as The Grand Tour, a car-travel show which features Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May of Top Gear fame, as well as dramas The Man In The High Castle, Transparent and Mozart In The Jungle. They can also stream hundreds of other films and TV series in the Prime Video library.
New users get a free trial for seven days. They can also subscribe to the service at PrimeVideo.com at an introductory price of US$2.99 (S$4.25) a month for the first six months. This is half the regular price.
