SINGAPORE - It is a boy for Taiwanese-American TV host Janet Hsieh and her Singapore-based British actor husband George Young, who welcomed their firstborn on Wednesday (Oct 11) morning.

The couple announced the news on their respective Facebook accounts.

Hsieh, 37, kept it simple: "It's a boy!"

Young, meanwhile, acknowledged his wife as he wrote: "I have a son. Janet Hsieh is Wonder Woman. I'll figure out the rest later."

The new parents married in January 2015, when they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Antarctica. They have been open about their relationship and the pregnancy process, sharing photos and updates on social media.

Last week, Hsieh, who is known to be a fearless adventurer on travel shows such as Fun Taiwan, shared pictures from her nude pregnancy photo shoot, which also included fancy underwater shots.

Young, 37, is known for his performances in TV series such as Singaporean period drama Mata Mata (2013) and Hollywood drama Containment (2016).
