Singapore-listed Abterra shares dive as firm assesses if it can continue as going concern

SINGAPORE (REUTERS) - Commodities trader Abterra's share price slipped as much as 17.09 per cent to 49 Singapore cents, its lowest level in around two weeks.

The counter is set for its worst day in 11 months.

The company's controlling shareholder General Nice Resource has been put under liquidation by the High Court of Hong Kong .

General Nice Resources holds 34.96 per cent in Abterra.

Abterra said on Wednesday (Dec 7) in a statement to the Singapore Exchange that it is assessing the impact of the liquidation, and whether Abterra will be able to operate as a going concern.
