SINGAPORE - Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat will be in Washington, DC, from Oct 11 to 13 to attend a meeting of Group of 20 (G-20) finance ministers and central bank governors.

He will also attend the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund, said the Ministry of Finance (MOF) in a media release on Tuesday (Oct 10).

The finance ministers and central bank governors meeting will discuss the global economic outlook and policy measures to strengthen economic resilience and promote strong, sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth.

The meeting will also touch on the international financial architecture, international taxation and financial sector development.

Mr Heng will be accompanied by officials from the MOF and Monetary Authority of Singapore.
