SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Monday (May 9), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,750.93 in early trade, up 0.74 per cent, or 20.13 points.
Around 35.4 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 81 to 34.
