SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (May 11), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,757.79 in early trade, up 0.61 per cent, or 16.64 points.
Around 57.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 96 to 35.
