SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,892.09 in early trade, up 0.34 per cent, or 9.82 points.
Around 134.7 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 98 to 41.
