Mr Jackson Tai is the fourth director to join HSBC's board this year as the search continues for a successor to chairman Douglas Flint.

LONDON - HSBC has announced the appointment of Mr Jackson Tai, former vice-chairman and chief executive of DBS, to its board, the New York Times reported on Tuesday (Sept 13).
The newspaper added that Mr Spencer Lake, HSBC's vice-chairman of global banking and markets, is leaving the bank after 10 years.
Mr Tai, 66, is a former JPMorgan Chase investment banker who served as chairman for the Asia-Pacific region before joining DBS.
He is is the fourth director to join HSBC's board this year as the search continues for a successor to chairman Douglas Flint, said the paper.
