2 dead after bomb explodes in bank in northern Myanmar

YANGON (AFP) - At least two people were killed and several wounded after a bomb exploded on Wednesday (Feb 21) at a branch of Myanmar's Yoma bank in the northern town of Lashio, a security officer said.

"Two girls, Yoma bank staffers, were killed out of 13 hit as the bomb exploded about 4:50 this evening in Lashio," the officer, who was at the scene, told AFP on condition of anonymity.
