WASHINGTON - On the first anniversary of the violent Jan 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol by Donald Trump supporters, there is deepening worry among many analysts that the United States is heading into more domestic discord and conflict.
That it is an election year might accelerate the process. The stakes are high in midterm elections in November that will determine who holds power in Congress.
