WASHINGTON (BLOOMBERG) - Senate Republicans started the clock for a make-or-break test vote on Friday (Oct 5) on Judge Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination, putting pressure on undecided GOP members to make up their minds.

The move by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell means that if the procedural vote succeeds on Friday, Judge Kavanaugh could be confirmed this weekend to the nation's highest court.
