LONDON - While the Russian military continues to battle in Ukraine, an equally vicious fight is raging inside Russia to defend the country's economy from the severe sanctions imposed on Moscow.
And just as the Russian invasion of Ukraine is not progressing as Moscow had hoped, attempts to shield the domestic economy from sanctions will not be very successful either.
