SINGAPORE - Scams have become so rampant that even some of the biggest names in tech have fallen prey and lost millions of dollars to cyber criminals posing as legitimate executives.
Google and Facebook (now Meta) lost a total of US$120 million (S$163 million) over three years to a brazen e-mail scam, causing consternation in corporations.
