SINGAPORE - Veteran Singapore chefs have responded after a recent video and recipe for a "Singaporean chicken curry" published by The New York Times (NYT) drew protests from Singapore's netizens.

The uproar began on Feb 2 after the NYT Cooking Instagram account shared a video in which Taipei-based American journalist Clarissa Wei demonstrated her take on the dish.
