Rare exchange between China and Taiwan DPP official at virtual forum a ‘small step forward’

TAIPEI – It appeared to be a standard global academic forum with cross-strait policy scholars, including those from China, gathered together.

But delivering a key speech at the Feb 25 virtual event was a special guest – Mr Wu Jun-zhi, director of the China Affairs Department of Taiwan’s independence-leaning Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
