Return of The Purple Parade

A record number of 100 organisations have come together to organise an annual event celebrating those with special needs this year.

Central Singapore District Mayor Denise Phua, who advises the parade's steering committee, will unveil more details of the event today.

China releasing trade data

China will release its latest trade data on imports and exports today, information that could either fuel the current rally or cause another sharp plunge in the markets. But the bigger worry is whether China can drag the economy back on its feet after months of disappointing data. Failure to do so could result in a market rout.
