EU ministers to discuss Trump win

European Union foreign ministers will hold a meeting tomorrow in Brussels to discuss EU-US relations following Mr Donald Trump's upset win in the US presidential election.

The ministers were due to hold a regular monthly meeting on Monday, with the focus expected to be on Turkey, but Mr Trump's victory has sent shockwaves through Europe, which fears that he may review US defence commitments to Nato.


Malaysian parties eye grand coalition

Malaysian opposition parties grouped under Pakatan Harapan are holding their first national convention today to discuss the establishment of a grand opposition coalition.

But the plan has been torpedoed by its own allies, ahead of a possible general election next year.


Festival to boost healthy lifestyle

The Healthy Lifestyle Festival SG, an event aimed at getting Singaporeans to keep healthy, such as by eating healthily and exercising, will be launched today. The festival also seeks to help the public recognise the signs and symptoms of diabetes, and learn how to reduce the risk of getting it with small lifestyle changes.
