SGfuture session on work challenges

The challenges workers and employers face will be the focus of an SGfuture session today at The Future of Us exhibition in Gardens by the Bay.

Participants will envision how jobs and workplaces of the future can be improved.


National People's Congress opens

The fourth session of the National People's Congress, China's national legislature, opens in Beijing today.

Observers will be looking to Premier Li Keqiang to provide clues on the country's outlook and plans to tackle problems of slowing growth and overcapacity, when he presents the government's work report, growth target and Budget at the opening of the annual meeting.


Five US states, Puerto Rico head to polls

United States presidential hopefuls head into more nominating contests this weekend in five states - Louisiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine and Nebraska - and the Puerto Rico territory.

The contests today and tomorrow involve far fewer delegates, compared with Super Tuesday, which saw Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump widen their leads over other candidates.
