UN raises awareness of drug abuse

The United Nations marks the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking today with the release of its annual world drug report. This global observance aims to raise awareness of the major problems that drug abuse pose to society.


Launch of DrugFreeSG Light-Up

At the launch of the DrugFreeSG Light-Up 2018 tonight, iconic buildings and structures in the Marina Bay area will be illuminated in green or white lights. Green and white, representing health, vitality and strength, are the colours of the Anti-Drug Ribbon, a symbol of the anti-drug cause and the united stand against drugs.


Release of key price data

The S&P/Case-Shiller National Index, a closely watched 20-city gauge, for April will be released today.

The data will be tracked closely by economists and policymakers, as home prices in the United States have been on a tear, with gains in March the strongest since mid-2014.
