Modi heads to US to meet Trump

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave New Delhi this morning for the United States for his first meeting with US President Donald Trump.

The two leaders are expected to review the entire gamut of bilateral relations, including Mr Trump's proposed curbs on granting H-1B visas that would badly hit qualified Indian techies.


Cambodia poll results out tomorrow

Cambodia will release tomorrow official results of communal elections, seen as a test of support for Prime Minister Hun Sen, who threatened to kill opponents in a speech this week.

Cambodia's embattled opposition fared well in the June 4 voting, according to early results, suggesting it has managed to grow its appeal despite an extended government crackdown on its network and supporters.


Creative take on NS

An exhibition that aims to offer a creative take on national service opens today at the Ion Art Gallery.

The display, titled Commemorating NS50 Through Art, will see local artists from the Singapore Art Society showcase works that recognise the contributions of generations of NSmen. The exhibit, which is free to enter, ends next Thursday.
