Verdict in Choi Soon Sil trial

The Seoul Central District Court will rule today on the fate of Choi Soon Sil, the confidante of ousted president Park Geun Hye, in a corruption trial. Prosecutors are seeking a jail term of 25 years as well as fines and asset seizures totalling 126.2 billion won (S$155 million).


Art fest at Gillman Barracks

Gillman Barracks' Art After Dark event today promises an evening of stimulating contemporary art, live music and food. The annual celebration of art will also see the opening of four new gallery exhibitions. Art After Dark is part of the Singapore Art Week.


Housing data out today

The Housing Board and Urban Redevelopment Authority will be releasing the final fourth-quarter housing data for the public and private market, respectively. Other data scheduled for release today include that of the office and retail sectors.
